” I cant believe this!” Prerna whispered angrily as she and Sonarika made their way through the narrow passage looking about for their seats,” You finally dragged me here to watch this pathetic movie. The next three hours are going to be horrible!”

“Shut up now!” said Sonarika,”Thank God we got the tickets. I was reading “How to make your wish come true” by Mishti Sen and I came across the concept of the law of attraction and……………………………..”

“And the only wish you could think of was this ridiculous movie!” Prerna tried hard to keep her voice as low as possible as they stood up for the national anthem.

“This is heaven,” said Sonarika as the background score of the movie played in the theatre.

“Then I would rather go to hell!” said Prerna.

The very first scene of the movie showed Miss Pink buying her wedding dress and requesting one of her students to be her bridesmaid. The student Elena agreed happily. The next scene showed Mr. Eden having a conversation with his mom whose get up and background score suggested that there was something eerie about her.

“What if his mother……..” began Sonarika.

“Drinks up the blood of that good for nothing librarian,” said Prerna leaning back on her chair.

“Mr. Eden will save her for sure,”said Sonarika.

“So if he doesnt save her, we are leaving the movie in the very first hour itself!” said Prerna with relief.

Another scene of the movie showed Miss Pink dancing with Mr. Eden during the annual fest of the schoool. Spooky music played in the background and Mr. Eden’s mother was shown eyeing them with an evil smile upon her wrinkled face.

“Go Mrs. Zombie!” whispered Prerna,”Kill that despo Pink!”

Sonarika gave her an annoyed look and then her gaze returned again to the movie screen. “I hope they get married this time,” she whispered.

“Look,” whispered Prerna,” His mother’s eyes just turned bright red and the way she is smiling, O my God! That evil smile. Its lovely. She will kill that Pink for sure.”

“Shut up!” said Sonarika angrily.

“I just hope that this time they arent going to show any more haunted basements,” whispered Prerna,” I am so sick of seeing those creepy spiders. I bet the maker of this movie is obsessed with spiders just like that horrible Wizard Howl in that weird movie we saw the other day.”

“Wizard Howl was really cute,”whispered Sonarika,”and he liked spiders bacause they ate up the flies and kept his castle clean.”

“Clean!” said Prerna trying to keep her voice as low as possible,” Dont you remember how that poor Sophie rubbed and scrubbed that unclean castle! No wonder women these days are dating horrible men. These movies are promoting such stuff.”

“What exactly are you trying to say?” whispered Sonarika angrily,”These unique love stories…………………………”

“Unique?” Prerna whispered back,”Well of course, a stupid librarian falling in love with a spooky ghost and dancing with him in the cemetry is quite unique enough.”

“They are dancing in the annual fest of the school, not in the cemetry.”

“Well, that school has zombies walking in every Saturday night, ancient basements with thousands of cobwebs and how can I forget that hyena who roams about in the hallways. Thats even scarier than a cemetry.”

“Quiet now Prerna,” said Sonarika,”Lets just enjoy the movie.”

Suddenly the scene shifted to the school’s basement where Mr. Eden was shown hugging another woman.

“Dont worry my love,” he said to the woman whose face was covered with a veil,” I will get her blood for you.”

“Wow,” whispered Prerna,”That librarian Pink’s blood………Creepy enough. I believe all these blood thirsty creatures are just reincarnated mosquitoes……………..Now the students of this school are going to invent a new mosquito repellant to save that Pink.”

“This cant be happening,” whispered Sonarika,” Mr. Eden said he loved Ms. Pink.”
