”What?” said Vivan,” what do you mean by this? You arent residing in a room here?”
Diya felt worried. She couldnt reveal the truth to him and his questions were making her feel guilty.
”Vivan,” she said passing Nisha the bowl of soup,” I am sorry but I cannot say anything more. You have to trust us here.”
”I do trust you,” he said,” I just dont want you both to be in any trouble.”
”Trust is a very strong word,” thought Nisha,” I am so blessed to have Vivan and Diya as my friends. Diya and Vivan will surely be together forever.”
”I do feel,” said Arjun,” that sometimes trust cannot be based on facts.”
”Not sometimes,” said Nisha softly,” trust is never based on facts and logic. Its based on love and instincts.”
”I agree with her,” said Vivan,” afterall love always knows best.”
”I cant believe you said that,” said Diya looking at him,” I am glad you believe in this mantra.”
”Mr. Arjun,” said Nisha pouring some water into his glass,” I understand that its hard for you to trust people because of some bitter experiences.”
”I make sure that I know everything about the person before I can trust him.”
”Is that what you did in our friendship too?” asked Vivan.
”No,” said Arjun,” in our case, I let my heart decide.”
”So why dont you give that power to your heart now?” asked Vivan feeling overwhelmed.
”Because,” said Arjun,” I am scared.”
”Its perfectly all right to be afraid,” said Diya,” we all feel scared of something. But if you wait for evidence to trust people, you might lose out on someone special.”
”I cant help it,” said Arjun.
”You can at least take the first step,” said Nisha.
”What do you mean?” asked Arjun.
”You dont trust yourself,” said Nisha,” because your boss gave you a million reasons to justify that you are a fool. Forgive him, release all those harsh judgements and start believing in yourself. You are who you believe you are. And then in the light of that love, look at others and listen to your heart.”
You are wonderful, you are magical. You are worthy of love and happiness. Making mistakes doesnt make you a fool. It makes you a learner.
